A restaurant I first visited over 20 years ago and am always happy to return to. The portions are still generous (they're amazing cooks!), the tarte flambée is delicious, and the Winstub atmosphere is pleasant, although the restaurant is a bit noisy due to its layout. On my last visit, the wait was a little long (it happens). A sure bet in Vendenheim.

I think these are the best tarte flambées in the region. That inimitable cream, pure and without any strange nutmeg. Those fresh and delicious matchstick bacon bits, that generous portion. And what can I say about the cheese tarte flambées, Munster or gratin, a delight. The garlic and chive and the goat cheese and honey ones are also very good. Every ingredient is perfect. Served with rare speed, perfectly cooked, not burnt. And zero digestive problems. A little disappointed by the profiterole, admittedly huge, but the chocolate had a slight raisin taste. Otherwise, it was good. Thank you, we'll be back.

We're always happy with the dishes we're served EXCEPT, yes, there is one EXCEPT: the spaetzle with Munster cheese. Oh dear, the spaetzle were too thin and the sauce was awful! The chef needs to rethink this. I didn't enjoy it at all. What a shame...

This was our second time in the area. Our first visit to this restaurant had been excellent, so we decided to return, but this second experience was a real disappointment. The wait was interminable, and to top it off, there was a mistake with our order. It's a real shame, as we had such fond memories of our first visit. We are very disappointed and hope this bad experience will remain a one-off.

How can I describe the sheer pleasure of your meal? Thank you so much; it's so difficult to find good food these days, especially at such reasonable prices. A true delight, thank you again!

We just returned from a family lunch on the terrace today. Everything was perfect. The dishes were beautifully presented and well-seasoned, and there was only a short wait. And what can I say about the professional service from our waiter, Kevin, who looked after us with a smile and genuine kindness? More and more restaurants are using "plate carriers" instead of true servers with the same heart and attitude as Kevin. Well done and thank you!

Friendly staff generous and tasty dishes reasonable prices

There were four of us, and we ordered the Hansburger, Cordon Bleu, Tex Mex Ribs, and a salad with goat cheese. To put it as briefly and succinctly as possible: we were extremely disappointed after leaving all the burger meat and three-quarters of the Cordon Bleu on our plates because we didn't like the taste, and there was no real apology. We were asked why we didn't like it, but that was it. No apology, no compensation. Very disappointing.

Very good, but the service was a bit slow.

Very good restaurant, very friendly waiters, very generous portions. Be aware, however, that the dishes are quite greasy.
