La Piazza

Delicious pizza, especially the dough; friendly waiters and a family atmosphere. Every time I come to Strasbourg, it's a must-see, along with a visit to the Cathedral.

A joke. We went there with two young children on July 20th. The wait was endless. It was a substitute in the kitchen, so they told us there was no pizza. Half an hour later, suddenly there was pizza, but they clearly don't know how to cook meat... So we fed our children fries because it was already very late, as we heard it took ages to take our order... The pizza was loaded with toppings, almost sickening... The prices are exorbitant compared to what you get... The location is very good, and the waitress was exceptional despite the atmosphere. I think the best thing to do is close when the cook is away... At least be nice to the customers and give them a discount on the bill, because it's extremely expensive for having waited so long... We could have left, but it was almost 10:15 pm and the children were exhausted... They should have told us things upon arrival, which they didn't do... We were told yes, then half an hour later we were told no, so naturally time dragged on... And the cleanliness of the toilets is appalling; I hope the kitchens aren't in the same state... What a shame.

I love this restaurant, the owner is just a sweetheart! The wood-fired pizzas are simply incredible.

When I saw the reviews I thought it was another restaurant. The pizza wasn't cooked properly; the top and edges were burnt. Despite my efforts to eat it, there was no way. I paid for a meal I ate, and they even charged me for water that wasn't there. Bad experience.
