BOULANGERIE ANGE

Good evening, I was very disappointed with their pizza. The tomato sauce was extremely acidic, probably due to the heat; it had gone off. Of the three pizzas I bought, two were from the display case and one was being cooked fresh. The fresh "Royale" pizza was edible. The other two ended up in the bin. The football promotion (1 pizza + 1 Coke = second pack for €5) was poorly managed by the staff, so I ended up paying much more. In short, a bad experience today.

I love Ange! The team is really friendly and the pastries are excellent. I had already tried the Ange in Geispolsheim, and the experience wasn't the same at all. The manager is also very welcoming and pleasant, which contributes to the shop's great atmosphere. The only slight downside: a rather tall, middle-aged woman wearing leopard-print glasses often seems to be in a bad mood when I come in. Her attitude contrasts sharply with the rest of the team, who are always smiling and welcoming! It's a shame, because otherwise, everything is really great! And the parking lot is super large.

I came on June 26, 2026 for a short lunch break, and when I sat down I found crumbs, not to mention dead insects lying around in my place. I find this shameful for a business like yours.

We had planned to spend some quality time with friends over coffee and croissants, but unfortunately there was no air conditioning, even though it's a heatwave. And this has been going on for several months now. We were really disappointed because we had to leave earlier than planned.

I'm only giving it 2 stars because there's no air conditioning and the place is practically unclean... Dirty floor, dust, fingerprints on the windows... and the bins are really filthy, the parking lot is disgusting... In short, way too dirty for my liking...

Last visit in November 2025. The waitress, European-looking and wearing a cap, was truly unprofessional. The service and hygiene left much to be desired, see photo 2 with a cockroach. Following my visit this Tuesday morning, October 14th, around 7:30 am, at Plaine des Bouchers, there were 4 employees behind the counter. A customer in front of me was being served, and there were no customers behind me. It took 5 customers behind me for the manager, wearing glasses, to deign to serve me. And look at the photo of the almond croissant she served me, cut in half by them and crudely smeared with something... the photo speaks for itself. No comment... this is amateurish. A loyal customer is a well-served customer.

If I could, I would give it zero stars. The bakery's storefront was really inviting, which is why I suggested to my family and friends that we go in for an afternoon snack. There were five of us, and we arrived around 4:20 pm this Saturday. Upon entering, we were surprised to see that the bakery and the lounge area, despite being quite large, were empty. We quickly understood why. The very nonchalant waitress told us we couldn't have coffee because the machine had already been cleaned. When I pointed out that the bakery closed at 7 pm, she replied that the machine had to be cleaned an hour earlier due to a problem. Except it was only 4:20 pm, not 6 pm! No other solution was offered. Frankly, the service was disappointing and unprofessional. I understand better now why there was no one there. I absolutely do not recommend it.
