Overall, disappointed. We came for dinner on a quiet evening; - The waitress initially hesitated to let us sit at an empty table of our choice 🫤 - Before serving us, she announced that we absolutely had to pay in cash due to a supposed problem with the card reader = We all know why businesses want cash 💸 🥷 = I had to walk 1 km to find the nearest ATM = SG on Rue du Dôme while waiting for our order 😤 - The pasta with truffles, priced at €28, was served without bread! 😯 - The pizza with baby spinach didn't look anything like the Google image on the website = I sent it back to the kitchen 😠 - We asked for extra plates to share; they never arrived! 😒 - I wanted to wash my hands in the restroom: the restroom wasn't clean! + Broken tap 😤 Summary: €47 = 1 pizza that doesn't look anything like the picture. Google search: €18 🫤 + 1 truffle pasta €28 🥶 and a carafe of water. At that price, you'd expect at least a smile! Nice restaurant, nice menu But unfriendly staff, Not customer-oriented I don't recommend it

We were extremely disappointed by both the waiter and the food. First, the waiter greeted us very coldly upon arrival. Furthermore, I found several small stones in my pizza, which were undoubtedly from poorly washed spinach. When we pointed this out, the waiter simply retorted, "So what?" with a haughty look and didn't even apologize. They also had the nerve to charge us an extra €4 for swapping the gorgonzola for mushrooms (which are much cheaper). There are hardly any vegetarian options. We are very disappointed by their attitude and will not be returning.

The service was borderline unpleasant. We understood there had been water damage in the afternoon, but there wasn't much we could do about it! The service was cold, unfriendly, and almost curt, despite the terrace being three-quarters empty. One of my daughters left with a stomach ache and was doubled over with pain all night... An experience we won't be repeating, for all these reasons... 3 pizzas, 2 bottles of water, a panna cotta, and a coffee: 103 euros

I celebrated my birthday last night and it was great. The service was quick, the staff very responsive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant :))

Unfriendly male staff. The waiter is surly and takes a long time to respond. The ladies are friendly and efficient. Making a reservation is a good idea, and the menu is worth it.

I was really looking forward to the A La Cantina restaurant because the reviews seemed so good. We were greeted rather rudely with the comment, "Without a reservation, you can leave." Unfortunately, we had a reservation and had taken our seats. One of our group wanted to order octopus, but it wasn't available. We weren't told if anything else was missing – but it turned out that the sea bream was also unavailable, which was rather annoying. Nevertheless, we stayed and ordered three portions of orecchiette with broccoli, pine nuts, and creamy cheese. When the food arrived, we immediately noticed that it was unfortunately tasteless. One of us pointed this out and was simply given some shredded cheese. When I spoke up a little later and said that the pasta was neither flavorful nor soft (it wasn't cooked through), we were accused of lying! They claimed our statements couldn't be true and that since we had already eaten, we couldn't cancel the reservation. How can you cancel a bad meal without even trying it? When I said I was very angry and disappointed about the situation and didn't want to pay for the meal, the man became very loud. We are all deeply shocked by this way of treating people. I would steer clear of this restaurant! At least one portion was eventually canceled…

We had a great time on the terrace, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and professional.

Keep walking, it's a tourist trap. There are plenty of good, authentic Italian restaurants in Strasbourg. This is neither. The service: awful. The young women have absolutely no interest in the customers, except that they order, pay, and leave quickly. The food: the pizza was very good, but the main course and dessert were uninteresting. The atmosphere: you can hear the staff shouting at each other. I come to a restaurant to have a good time, not to witness this. The wines: terrible, and the staff clearly know it but couldn't care less (especially no attempt at compensation). I'm stunned that I spent money on this.
