Restaurant Les Terrasses du Bohrie

We booked a restaurant for a group, and we didn't reconfirm three times (what a joke!). We arrived at the restaurant, and the waiter told us he'd canceled our reservation (on a Saturday evening at 7:30 pm) and had taken other reservations, so there were no more tables available. And to top it all off, for 12-13 people, it was a set menu, something that had never been mentioned beforehand. Just so you know, the terrace probably only seats 40 at most. Another very nice restaurant to forget, in the end. It seems like restaurants are making too much money in this area.

Simply turned away. Closed even though it showed as open.

We would have loved to try the food… we had booked a table specifically for that, but unfortunately the owner decided to close the restaurant for vacation despite our reservation. Of course, we didn't receive any calls :) We had to see a post on Facebook to find out! When I called for an explanation, I asked what was going to happen now that we had a reservation. The chef laughed in my face and told me he was closed. A strange way of doing things… what a shame!

The waitress should find another job if she doesn't like what she does. No cutlery, you have to ask, no napkins... and apparently, it's a painful experience for her.
