A sure bet for fish lovers 🐠

A huge disappointment, a surprising drop in quality today.

We came for dinner and the experience was very mixed. My partner's dish was good and she was satisfied. However, my fish dish (€38) was a real disappointment. It arrived just a few minutes after we ordered, which surprised me. The dish was scalding hot, as if it had been left under a heat lamp, and most of the fish was far overcooked: dry salmon, tough scallops… The potatoes weren't any better. I discreetly mentioned the problem to the waiter, who was very professional and pleasant. I would like to thank him for his attitude. However, the way the restaurant handled the situation was disappointing. The only gesture of goodwill was to offer a coffee, even though the main course was clearly below expectations. No one came to speak with us, not even the chef. For an establishment of this category and at this price point, I expected better quality, but above all, better customer service when a problem is reported. It is primarily this lack of response that justifies my 2/5 rating.

A true delight at every moment. What a pleasure to come here. We were served by Julian, who was attentive, professional, and funny… he has all the qualities needed for this job. The dishes are magnificent, both visually and in terms of taste. It's always a pleasure, and whatever you order, you can't go wrong. Bravo!

Bland food, the tuna tartare had no flavor or seasoning, and the fish was overcooked (a plate of 5 grilled fish). As for the service... wow... you get the impression they're bothering you, especially the sommelier... a real bear 🐻. The rest of the staff are young people doing what they can without any training or guidance from a true mentor! At the price they charge, we expected more professional and attentive service. In short, a lot of hype and very, very overrated! An address to forget!

We ordered the Royal platter for two people. There was plenty to eat. The lobster was very good, very fresh. The meat flakes easily. The oysters were a little thin but very fresh. The restaurant was full on the Sunday lunchtime we went, so it was a bit noisy. Overall, we were happy with the quality and freshness of the food. There aren't a thousand seafood restaurants in Strasbourg. P.S. You have to pay a €50 deposit per person for the reservation.

Upon arrival, it was fine, but we were disappointed. We ordered Gilardo oysters and were served other oysters that were just as good, but they weren't what we ordered. We didn't even get a discount on our bill. We came here specifically to try this type of oyster, and we were misled by a waiter. The price was very high for the meal we ate, and to top it off, we ended up in the emergency room because my husband suffered from lactic acidosis. We don't know if it was due to the freshness of the food, but we are used to eating seafood and this has never happened to us before. I am very shocked and also very surprised by the price of a half-bottle of white wine, which cost around €68—very expensive for a white wine, the price of champagne, I would say.

Delicious food, impeccable service, and a pleasant atmosphere. What more could you want?
